Ilona understands that life can present difficult challenges, and she strives to create a safe and supportive space to work through interpersonal, family, and relationship conflicts. She is passionate about supporting individuals navigating immigration-related experiences and complex trauma. Ilona has extensive experience working with teens and adults to address depression, anxiety, and major life transitions.

As a first-generation immigrant, Ilona values resilience and emphasizes her clients’ strengths to promote personal growth and deeper self-understanding throughout the therapeutic process. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Mexico and her Master of Counseling from Arizona State University. Ilona brings a multicultural perspective to her work and integrates various evidence-based approaches, including ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), tailoring her methods to meet each client’s unique needs.
